What kind of TikTok account do I need?
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
Any TikTok account can connect to Postbean — personal, Creator or Business. There is no account type you have to switch to first.
What does change between accounts is which options TikTok allows, and Postbean reads those from your account rather than guessing.
The options come from your account
Section titled “The options come from your account”When you open the TikTok tab in the composer, Postbean asks TikTok what your account permits and renders exactly that:
- Who can view this video — the audience list is your account’s own. A private account cannot offer “Everyone”, so that option is not shown.
- Comment, Duet, Stitch — anything you have turned off in TikTok’s own settings appears greyed out here.
- Commercial content disclosure — required by TikTok when the video promotes a product or service. Branded content cannot be published privately.
If your account can only post privately at the moment, Postbean says so in that tab rather than letting you schedule something that would fail.
Video length
Section titled “Video length”The maximum duration also comes from your account, and Postbean enforces the number TikTok reports rather than a hard-coded one.
What connecting gives you
Section titled “What connecting gives you”Postbean publishes directly to your profile — the video does not land in your TikTok drafts and you do not have to finish anything in the app. See How Postbean publishes to TikTok.
TikTok accepts video only through its publishing API in Postbean today; image posts are not supported.
