Platform limits and restrictions

Postbean enforces upload and publishing limits to keep the service stable and compatible with each social network’s API. These limits are validated both on the client and on the server.
Media uploads

- Max items per post (carousel): 35.
- Unsupported formats are rejected before upload.
- Size is validated per actual file type (an image can’t exceed 8 MB even though the video cap is 100 MB).
Publishing
Section titled “Publishing”- Caption length: up to 5,000 characters in Postbean; when publishing, the most restrictive limit among the selected platforms is applied (see table below).

API limits (per platform)
Section titled “API limits (per platform)”These are imposed by each network, not by Postbean. Google Business is not connectable yet, and LinkedIn Company Pages need LinkedIn’s Community Management API:
