Scheduling threads on X and Threads

Postbean publishes one post per network, not a chain of them. Scheduling a full thread on X (Twitter) or on Threads — several posts published in sequence, each replying to the last — is not supported yet.

What you can do today

• A single post on X or Threads, scheduled or published now, with media and per-network wording. This works normally.
• A first comment on Threads — one follow-up reply posted automatically right after the main post. That covers the common “post plus a link or a source” pattern. On X, first comments are not available.

Why threads are not there yet

A thread is a sequence of dependent publishes: each post has to wait for the previous one’s id, and any failure halfway through leaves a partial thread on your profile that has to be cleaned up by hand. Doing it properly means retry and rollback logic per network, which is a bigger piece of work than it looks.

In the meantime

Write the opening post in Postbean and schedule it, then add the rest of the thread from the app when it goes out. Or publish the whole thread natively and use Import to bring it into Postbean afterwards so it shows up in your calendar and metrics.
