Facebook Page connection problems

Facebook connections go through the personal account that administers the Page, and most problems are about which Pages that account actually granted.

See Why can’t I connect my Facebook Page? — it covers the “No Pages found” case and the cleanup that fixes it.

The short version: remove Postbean from Facebook’s Business integrations and Apps and websites, then connect again and select your Pages explicitly rather than accepting the default.

“The channel needs reconnecting” — the Page token is no longer valid. This happens when the Page’s admin list changes, when the business portfolio it belongs to is reorganised, or when someone removes Postbean’s access. Reconnect from Connections.

You lost admin rights on the Page. Postbean publishes as the account you authorized with. If that account is downgraded to editor, the publishing permission goes with it.

Postbean cannot publish to a personal Facebook profile, only to Pages. That is Meta’s API, not a Postbean limitation — see Can I post to my personal Facebook profile?.

Not available yet. Facebook’s first comment needs a permission that Meta only grants through App Review, and Postbean’s request is still in progress. Everything else about Facebook posts works normally.

Facebook returns an empty result rather than an error when the app lacks the insights permission, which makes it look like your Page has no data. This is the same App Review that gates first comments. Your posts publish fine in the meantime; the metrics fill in once Meta approves.
