Why can't I connect my Facebook Page?
Postbean connects to Facebook Pages, and it reaches them through the personal Facebook account that administers them. If your Page is not appearing, one of these is usually why.
You need admin rights on the Page
Section titled “You need admin rights on the Page”The Facebook account you authorize with has to own or administer the Page. Being an editor or a moderator is not enough for the publishing permission Postbean asks for.
You have to grant the permissions
Section titled “You have to grant the permissions”Facebook’s authorization screen asks which Pages and which businesses Postbean may act on. If you skip past it, or pick a business portfolio that does not contain your Page, the Page never reaches Postbean.
When you reach that screen, choose the specific Pages rather than leaving the default selection.
Fixing “No Facebook Pages found”
Section titled “Fixing “No Facebook Pages found””This usually means an earlier authorization left a partial grant behind. Clear it and start over:
- In Facebook, open Settings → Business integrations and remove Postbean.
- Also check Settings → Apps and websites and remove it there.
- Back in Postbean, click Connect Facebook again.
- On the authorization screen, select your business portfolio and the specific Pages, and approve everything.
Check the URL for an error
Section titled “Check the URL for an error”If the connection bounces you straight back without a Page picker, look at your browser’s address bar on the way back — Facebook appends its error there, and quoting it makes a support request much faster to answer.
Still stuck
Section titled “Still stuck”Write to support@postbean.app with the error text and the name of the Page you are trying to connect.
