Postbean enforces upload and publishing limits to keep the service stable and compatible with each social network’s API. These limits are validated both on the client and on the server.

- Max items per post (carousel): 35.
- Unsupported formats are rejected before upload.
- Size is validated per actual file type (an image can’t exceed 8 MB even though the video cap is 100 MB).
- Caption length: up to 5,000 characters in Postbean; when publishing, the most restrictive limit among the selected platforms is applied (see table below).
