Double charges and duplicate subscriptions
Two charges in the same period almost always means two Postbean accounts, each with its own subscription.
Check for a second account
Section titled “Check for a second account”The usual cause is signing up twice with different addresses — a personal one and a work one, or an email signup and a Continue with Google signup that used a different address.
- Search your inbox for Lemon Squeezy receipts. Each one names the email used at checkout.
- Try signing in with each address. If both get you into a Postbean workspace, you have two accounts.
Getting it sorted
Section titled “Getting it sorted”Write to support@postbean.app with:
- every email address you might have signed up with,
- the dates and amounts of both charges,
- and which account you want to keep.
We cancel the duplicate subscription and refund its charge. If both accounts have real work in them, tell us — moving connections and posts between them is not something you can do yourself.
Two charges on one account
Section titled “Two charges on one account”Less common, but it happens if a checkout is retried after a timeout. Same address, same information — we cancel the duplicate subscription and refund it.
Preventing it
Section titled “Preventing it”- Sign in the same way every time. If you started with Google, keep using Google.
- Before paying, check Settings → Billing. If it already shows an active plan, you do not need to buy another one.
