Instagram trial reels are not supported

Postbean cannot publish a reel as a trial reel — the format Instagram uses to test a reel with non-followers before showing it to your audience.

Instagram’s Content Publishing API does not expose it. Only the app can create one, so no third-party scheduling tool can offer it, whatever it claims.

What to do

Publish trial reels from the Instagram app directly. Everything else — regular reels, feed posts, carousels, stories — publishes from Postbean normally, and you can pick the placement in the Instagram tab of the composer.

If Instagram opens the option up in its API, it becomes an option in that same tab.
